MANDAN, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a PIT maneuver made by a trooper ended a two-state chase south of Mandan Thursday.
The Highway Patrol says they were alerted of a fleeing pickup that entered North Dakota from South Dakota on State Highway 1806. The pickup was headed north toward Mandan.
Troopers say that Mandan Police deployed spike strips to slow the pickup down before the Highway Patrol stopped the pursuit with a PIT maneuver before the pickup made it to town.
The driver was arrested, the Morton County Sheriff’s Office is handling charges for the driver.
