FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man has been arrested after reportedly headbutting, threatening and trying to punch Fargo Police Officers early Saturday morning. Isaiah Mohn could be charged with assault, preventing arrest and terrorizing in connection to the incident.
Court documents say police were called to an apartment in the 4800 block of 46th street south just after 2 a.m. Mohn’s fiancée told police he was withdrawing from kratom and wanted to go to detox.
Mohn was reportedly upset that officers were at the apartment. Court documents say he told the cops he would cut them with a machete. Officers then left the apartment before returning soon after. In the hallway of the apartment, Mohn reportedly asked an officer if they wanted to fight before throwing a punch that was blocked. He tried to punch officers again before he was tased.
While in the squad car on the way to the hospital, Mohn allegedly threatened to choke officers and find out where they lived. Court documents say that while at the hospital, Mohn headbutted an officer, which left a mark.
After being cleared at the hospital, Mohn was taken to the Cass County Jail.
