BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Senate has passed a bill banning the sale and possession of natural kratom to those under age 21, creates licensing and labeling requirements and criminal penalties in a 46-0 vote.
The Senate added an amendment banning synthetic kratom.
The legislation now goes back to the house.
A bill banning natural and synthetic kratom failed in the House by one vote.
