WEST FARGO, N.D. – No one is hurt after a lithium ion battery fire in West Fargo.
Crews responded to an apartment building around 4:30 PM on Thursday, August 20 on the 500 block of 6th St. E finding smoke and flames coming from a battery.
It appeared to have exploded while charging in a kitchen.
Firefighters put the flames out and ventilated the building.
No one has been displaced.
The fire department reminds you to never leave something charging unattended and only charge them for the recommended time.
