FARGO (KFGO) – The Highway Patrol, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, and the Fargo Police Department conducted a sobriety checkpoint Saturday between 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. on I-29, northbound at exit 67.
Authorities checked 481 vehicles. Fourteen drivers were screened for impairment which resulted in two DUI arrests. One of the DUI drivers also had two warrants for his arrest.
Following the checkpoint, authorities conducted saturation patrols in the area. There was one DUI arrest, three Driving Under Suspension arrests, one reckless driving arrest, six drug citations, five citations for driving without insurance, one open container citation, and a seat belt citation.
Authorities also issued 30 warnings during the saturation patrol. One of the Driving Under the Suspension drivers was wanted for two warrants.
