FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) – A staple of the Fargo-Moorhead beauty and wellness community is changing hands, as longtime Hair Success Salon & Spa owners Jodi Brown and Jill Krahn have sold the business to Denise Ratzlaff, with the transfer taking effect in October.
The transaction encompasses both the salon and spa alongside SKIN Medical Aesthetics. Brown and Krahn have owned and operated Hair Success for 43 years, building a strong presence in the region since the business was founded more than four decades ago.
“Hair Success/SKIN isn’t becoming something different,” Ratzlaff said in a statement. “It’s becoming an even better version of what our clients already know and love, with the same great team, trusted services, and exciting new opportunities in beauty, wellness, and aesthetics.”
Under the new ownership structure, the business plans to retain its existing staff while expanding wellness and medical aesthetic offerings and enhancing the overall experience for long-time clients. Ratzlaff noted that the transition is designed to build directly on the foundation established over the past four decades.
“Our goal is to honor the 40-year history of the business while creating new opportunities for our team and our clients,” Ratzlaff said.
The official ownership change will take effect next month, with daily operations, services, and team members remaining seamlessly in place across both Hair Success and SKIN Medical Aesthetics.
