Construction for the Scheels Ice Center in Horace (WFHA)
West Fargo hockey is getting a big boost for a new ice center in Horace.
The West Fargo Hockey Association says scheels is making a major donation to help build the new 70,000 square foot ice center.
“We are incredibly grateful to SCHEELS for their unwavering support of youth sports in our community,”
said Jeremy Jorgenson, Executive Director of WFHA. “Their generous gift not only underscores their
commitment to fostering athletic and youth development but also highlights their dedication to
enhancing the quality of life for families in the West Fargo School District.”
The facility is part of a project with the city of Horace and Gehrtz construction. West Fargo Hockey Association says the new center will help meet the growing demand for ice time and give youth across the region more access to hockey.

variety of sports and making sure kids in our community have safe, accessible spaces to play, ” said Fargo
SCHEELS Store Leader Talon Peters. “The new SCHEELS Ice Center is a major step forward for ice access
across our growing region, and we are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the West Fargo
Hockey Association in bringing the project to life.”
Scheels will also get naming rights for the new facility, which will be called the Scheels Ice Center.
