ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – MyPillow founder Mike Lindell says he’s taking his fight for a recount in the Minnesota Gubernatorial Primary Election to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Lindell had his recount requests denied by the Minnesota Supreme Court last month. He argued that the Secretary of State’s recount proposal was against the law, and would not address inconsistencies his team found in the election results.
“We asked for the recount, obviously they said no, of your 1.1 million ballots we’re only gonna count 300,000 of them. Only you and Lisa Demuth. I said ‘no, no, no, no, we do a recount, look at every (one) of all 1.1 million ballots, it’s in Minnesota law’.” Lindell said.
He says his team is working to get election records from all 87 Minnesota counties as part of his effort to get rid of voting machines.
“Now we’re (not) gonna stop until those machines are melted down and turned into prison bars.” Lindell said.
Lindell says he was prepared to pay $825,000 for a recount of the primary election, which he lost by more than 45,000 votes.
