LITCHVILLE, N.D. (KFGO) – A Wisconsin man is in the Stutsman County Correctional Center after a drug bust near Litchville, North Dakota.
Joshua Signer, 41, is could be charged with eight crimes including drug possession with intent to deliver, DUI and DUI test refusal.
Court documents say Signer was pulled over by a North Dakota Highway Patrol Trooper Monday night just before 10:50 p.m. During the stop Signer was not able to show a proof of insurance, seemed paranoid, and appeared to be under the influence.
The Trooper learned Signer’s license was suspended out of Wisconsin. Court records say Signer refused to get out of the vehicle until agreeing to field sobriety tests, which he reportedly failed.
During a search of Signer’s vehicle and wallet the trooper reportedly found more than $20,000 in cash, multiple cellphones, a loaded pistol, a shotgun and six baggies of drugs including meth, marijuana and THC gummies.
Troopers say receipts in Signer’s wallet show he traveled 13,000 miles between North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota in a week. Signer reportedly refused a chemical DUI test and was arrested.
