BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – Police arrested a Bismarck man after a child abuse and terrorizing investigation.
Bismarck police arrested Sergio Miranda, 30, just after four this morning.
It comes after a series of incidents that happened between late Wednesday and early this morning.
Investigations say Miranda hit a six-year-old boy and threatened to kill his girlfriend.
When officers tried taking Miranda into custody, police say he fled out a window and climbed onto an overhang at the Dakota Stage Theatre, where he refused to come down.
He was armed with a knife, and west Dakota SWAT responded.
Miranda later came down from the overhang and officers arrested him.
Miranda could be charged with child abuse, terrorizing, preventing arrest, and failure to halt.
