MINNESOTA (KFGO) – On “News and Views”, Minnesota Congresswoman Angie Craig said she’s incredibly optimistic she’ll win the Democratic Senate primary on Tuesday, August 11.
“My style is to kind of get out of my blue bubble and get into audiences, independent voters, and even those leaning Republican-leaning voters, who say to me this isn’t what I voted for when I voted for Donald Trump,” Craig said.
Senator Tina Smith believes Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan is in the best position to win the Senate race.
“I think what she’s doing to stand up to these crypto guys is exactly where we need to be right now. It’s something at this point nearly $20 million has flooded into the state to oppose Peggy,” Smith said.
Republican Senate candidates include sports broadcaster Michele Tafoya, retired Navy SEAL Adam Schwarze and former NBA player Royce White.
