(KNFL/KFGO) – After a loss to Lincoln Post 500 in Day 1 of the Central Plains Tournament in Mandan, North Dakota Thursday, Fargo Post 2 would play Dubuque County Post 137 Friday morning. Fargo Post 2’s Caden Nelson would be electric on the mound, as he went eight innings, gave up two runs, while striking out 11 batters.
The game would be tied at 2-2 all the way until the 10th inning. Dubuque County would have the winning run at 3rd base. That’s where Dubuque’s Brett Harris walked it off on a sacrifice fly, as Dubuque walks it off 3-2 in 10 innings. Fargo Post 2’s season comes to an end.
