A Sioux Falls woman will spend more than six years in federal prison for planning to distribute meth.
Investigators say Janelle Olson, 47, helped distribute about seven pounds of meth during her involvement in the conspiracy. She was arrested in July 2025 after investigators tracked her and a co-conspirator transporting meth from Omaha to Sioux Falls.
Investigators found about two pounds of meth in each of their vehicles.
Olson pleaded guilty in May. She will be sentenced so six years and six months in prison followed by three years of supervised release. She was also ordered to pay a $100 fee to the federal crime victims unit.
