FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) – More than 100 workers at Cass-Clay Creamery in Fargo are authorizing a strike.
Teamsters 120, a labor union representing the workers says they’re asking for better pay, healthcare and protections.
Cass-Clay makes products distributed throughout the region, the union says it’s part of a larger network of distributors owned by Dairy Farmers of America, who they call one of the country’s largest dairy co-operatives.
The strike has not taken place, but the union says they are prepared if dairy farmers of america doesn’t get serious during negotiations.
