Cass County Commission budget hearing. 7/24/26.
FARGO (KFGO-KVRR) — The Cass County Commission held day three of its Budget hearings on Friday.
Cost of Living adjustments for Cass County employees and the Red River Valley Fair budget were among the items discussed by the committee.
The commission discussed a three percent cost of living adjustment as well as a three point five percent market adjustment for county employees.
For the fair, the commission voted on a 275,000 dollar budget, a 50,000 dollar increase for last year.
That includes 50,000 dollars for added costs for constructing the new stage.
That money will require a 2 to 1 match from fundraising.
