MOORHEAD (KFGO) — Moorhead police say a large shipment of drugs meant to be disturbed in the Fargo area were taken off the streets after a targeted traffic stop.
The department says it received information early this month that a suspect was bringing drugs to the metro from the Twin Cities. On July 8, Moorhead detectives, Clay County deputies, and officers with the Cass County Drug Task Force stopped a vehicle traveling near Barnesville.
Jason Fliflet, 45, was arrested, and officers seized a large amount of drugs from his vehicle. Investigators also searched his home. A total of 3 pounds of meth, 73 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, 56 illegal pills, and over $2100 in cash was seized.
Fliflet is being held for several counts of possession and sale of controlled substances.
