HANNAH, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified those involved in a fatal crash in Cavalier County earlier this week.
Troopers say Aaron Dalgliesh, 46 of Hannah, North Dakota was killed and Patrick Metzger, 72, of Bakersfield, California was seriously injured in the rollover crash near Hannah. Metzger was flown to a hospital in Fargo.
The highway patrol says the crash happened sometime between 5:00 p.m. Sunday evening and 7:00 a.m. Monday morning, about a mile south of the U.S.-Canada border.
It was determined the vehicle left the road, entered the ditch, became airborne after entering a field, and overturned. Troopers continue to investigate the crash. Neither man was wearing a seatbelt.
