FRAZEE, Minn. (KFGO-KBRF) – The Minnesota State Patrol has released the identity of the victim of a fatal semi crash east of Frazee late Thursday night.
State troopers say that at around 10 p.m. Thursday, 62-year-old Debra Carlson of Menahga was heading west on U.S Highway 87 in Evergreen Township, when her SUV drove underneath the trailer of a semi that was backing into a residence on the north side of the Highway.
Carlson was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver from Frazee was not injured. Alcohol is not a suspected factor of the crash.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Detroit Lakes, Wolf Lake, and Frazee Fire Departments, Frazee Police, and the Becker County Sheriff’s Office.
