Eagle Bend, Minn. (KFGO/KBRF) – Two people were injured in a rear-end crash in Todd County Sunday afternoon.
State troopers say that at around 3:13 p.m., an SUV was northbound on U.S. Highway 71 in Eagle Bend, attempting to make a westbound turn onto Abbot Street West, and a minivan was also heading north on Highway 71, when the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the minivan, 56-year-old Giselle Longtine of Detroit Lakes, and the driver of the SUV, 22-year-old Madison Olson of Beardsley, were both transported to Astera Health for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The male passenger of the SUV was not hurt but was also transported.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Todd County Sheriff’s Office, Browerville & Bertha Ambulance, and Eagle Bend Fire.
