FARGO (KFGO) — A Fargo man has been charged for his connection to a June robbery.
37-year-old Courtney Smith was charged Monday in Cass County District Couth with conspiracy to commit robbery, criminal trespass, preventing arrest, and drug possession.
A Fargo police report says officers responded to a robbery June 23rd. A man reported three people entered his apartment unit at the Arbors apartment complex. The trio took a TV and electric scooter. Police say the three were seen leaving the apartment building without any of the items, and the stolen property has not been recovered. Court documents say officers used witness reports, security footage, and prior interactions with law enforcement to identify Smith as one of the suspects.
Police issued a felony want for Smith June 30. He was located by the Metro Street Crimes unit July 2 in Fargo. He fought with the officers who tried to arrested him, and spat on one. Police found meth and marijuana on his person.
A second suspect in the case, Rodney Anderson, is charged with armed robbery and armed burglary. Gabrielle Yellow Horse is the third suspect. She is charged with criminal trespass.
