Joel Delonais (Cass County Jail)
FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man is facing charges of burglary and theft after nearly $20,000 in tools were stolen from Fargo North High School. Court documents say Joel Delonais, 36, was arrested after officers found him pushing two garbage bins full of tools.
The bins contained nail guns, drills, lights, batteries and chargers marked as property of Fargo Public Schools and Fargo North High.
Officers investigated and checked a shop at the school and found two kicked in doors and a footprint on another door. Court documents say the footprints matched the bottom of Delonais’ shoes. Officers say the shop appeared to have been gone through and there was property inside and outside the building.
The tools were returned to the school. Staff estimated their value at $19,000. Delonais was arrested and taken to the Cass County Jail.
