PILLSBURY, N.D. (KFGO) – The driver of a pickup is dead after crashing into a parked bulldozer in rural Steele County in eastern North Dakota Friday night.
The Highway Patrol says the crash happened two miles northwest of Pillsbury at 12th Street and 126th Avenue SE sometime Friday night.
Troopers say 42-year-old Jonathan Heidorn of Hope was driving on a gravel road from Page toward Hope when he couldn’t handle a curve in the road. Heidorn’s pickup went off the road into a field and crashed into the bulldozer.
The crash was reported around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Heidorn died at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
