BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – North Dakota Health and Human Services is reporting one confirmed measles case in Cass County. The first case reported in the county this year.
HHS says the person likely acquired the infection within the state and is investigating the source of exposure. The person reported no recent out-of-state or international travel.
North Dakota has had 38 confirmed cases of measles this year, five people have been hospitalized. The state had 36 total cases last year and three hospitalizations. The U.S. has more than 1,800 confirmed cases in 2026.
