SAUK CENTRE, Minn. (KFGO) – Sauk Centre Police in central Minnesota say five apartments and three businesses were heavily damaged in a fire Monday night.
Police say an officer was on patrol just before midnight when they noticed flames and smoke coming from a two story building downtown. The officer called the Sauk Centre Fire Department and helped evacuate the apartments with another officer.
Once fire crews arrived they extinguished the fire with help from four other departments. Nobody was injured in the fire.
