MOORHEAD (KFGO/KVRR) – Nobody was injured in a Moorhead house fire this afternoon. Fire crews responded to the call in the 2400 block of 13th St S just after 11:15 a.m. Thursday.
The Moorhead Fire Department says two people were working in the attic of the home when the fire started. The workers escaped, along with the homeowner and called 911. When crews arrived they had to cut into the roof of the home to completely extinguish the fire, firefighters could be seen throwing drywall out of a window.
The fire significantly damaged the roof and at least two rooms in the home. The residents are displaced and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
