HARWOOD, N.D. (KFGO) —The Harwood community is rallying around a longtime volunteer firefighter and paramedic battling stage 4 cancer.
Jerry Raguse was diagnosed with kidney cancer last fall. He’s a longtime volunteer firefighter and paramedic with Harwood Fire and Rescue, and is also a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Raguse has worked as a landscape horticulturalist at Concordia College for over 38 years.
His family describes him as a “kind-hearted man, a dedicated father and grandfather, the hardest working person you will ever meet, and he has always been there for others.”
His daughter has started a GoFundMe to help her parents with finances while he battles cancer. That link can be found here.
