(KNFL/KFGO/Moorhead Area Public Schools) – Moorhead Area Public Schools is hosting a retirement party for Longtime Play-by-Play Announcer, Larry Knutson, May 6th. He has been the voice of the Moorhead Spuds since 1979, as he’s called football, hockey, basketball, and volleyball. Knutson also became the voice of the Concordia Cobbers shortly after.
The retirement party will be held at the Moorhead Area Public Schools Operations Center, on 1313 30th Ave S. There will be an open house starting at 4:30 PM until 5:30, which is when a program will be beginning.
