City of Fargo offering program to recycle holiday lights and waste

FARGO (KFGO) – The City of Fargo is offering residents a free way to recycle unwanted holiday lights.

Residents can drop off string style lights to be recycled at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility weekdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm through the end of January. Rope style lights are not accepted for recycling.

The City also says other holiday waste including cardboard can be taken to the Residential Transfer Station at the Fargo Landfill for disposal.
