FARGO (KFGO) – Everyone is safe after a house fire in north Fargo Friday night.
The Fire Department says the call came in just after 9 p.m. for a second floor fire at 737 2nd Street N.
When firefighters arrived they could see flames coming through a window and saw homeowners trying to put the fire out. Crews were able to extinguish the fire within about 15 minutes.
All people and pets got out safely, but have been displaced because of heavy fire damage to the second floor and smoke damage throughout the house.
The fire is under investigation and a damage estimate hasn’t been determined.
Fargo Police and Sanford Ambulance assisted at the scene.
