HAMPTON, Minn. (KFGO) – A 3-year-old boy is dead and a 28-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a head-on crash south of the Twin Cities Monday night.
The State Patrol says the woman and boy, both from St. Paul, were traveling north in a car on Highway 52 near Hampton when it crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a semi truck.
They were taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul where the boy died.
The 39-year-old truck driver from St. Augustine, Florida suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
