Country superstar Jason Aldean is lending his support to fellow songwriter John Morgan‘s latest track, “Friends Like That.” Morgan, a seasoned songwriter with hits for artists like Jon Pardi, Dustin Lynch, and Thomas Rhett, now has the chance to not only showcase his song but also his own voice on country radio. In Aldean’s words, Morgan excels as a singer, songwriter, and performer. For Aldean, supporting Morgan’s career is not only a professional endeavor but also a personal one.
Last month we told you Clay Walker was releasing a song co-written by Scotty Emerick and the late Toby Keith. Friday, Clay dropped “I Know She Hung The Moon.” Keith shared the song with Walker back in 2021, and Clay recorded it in December, less than two months before Toby passed. “I found out that he had passed away and it really affected me and I’d asked my manager, who also manages Toby, ‘Did Toby ever get a chance to hear the song?’ and he said ‘he (Toby) did. He said he loved it’ and that meant a lot,” Walker shares.
