The country star took to Instagram to share a photo of his tour bus in his home’s driveway. He asked, “Any ideas why I would have my tour bus parked in the drive way?”, and many followers guessed that he is quarantining after contracting the virus.
He followed up on Monday to confirm the speculation, revealing that he “Got the Rona.”
“Asymptomatic. Quarantining on bus. Miss my family. Writing songs. Thankful.”
FGL was slated to perform at the CMA Awards this week but will no longer be doing so, making the group the second act to pull out of the show following a coronavirus diagnosis. Lee Brice also tested positive, and was scheduled to perform with Carly Pearce.
The 2020 CMA Awards,hosted by Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker, will air on ABC at 8 p.m. ET on Nov. 11.
