FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Registration Opens for Fargo-Moorhead 9/11 Memorial 5K at NDSU Community Invited to 'Run to Remember' on September 7 in Honor of 9/11 Victims and Veterans.
Fargo, ND - Registration is now open for the Fargo-Moorhead Student Veterans 9/11 Memorial 5K, scheduled for Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at North Dakota State University. This annual event honors the lives lost on September 11 and supports student veteran programming across the Fargo-Moorhead area.
The 5K is USATF-certified, open to all runners and walkers, and features self-selected start corrals. Proceeds benefit local student veterans through scholarships, services, and leadership development.
"This is more than a run-it's a moment of remembrance, resilience, and unity," said Terry Traylor, Race Director. "We're honored to create a space where the community can reflect, participate, and show their support."
