| Opening Day at Fort Abercrombie State Historic Site and Drill and Practice Day for 5th Minnesota Infantry Co. D. Civil War Reenactment Unit May 24- 9:00am -4:00pm. Public is welcome to participate in the drills along with their kids. Award winning author Candace Simar will be signing and selling her books in the interpretive center 10:00am -3:00pm. Guided tours of the site are given everyday 9:00am -4:00pm. Awesome learning for people of all ages. Hands on history with many photo opts for a memorable experience at the fort. |
