Fort Abercrombie Opening Day

Fort Abercrombie State Historic Site opens for the season on Saturday May 27, 20023.

Open daily 8:30am - 5:00pm. May 27 - Sept.4 , 2023. Special Opening Day Event at Fort Abercrombie includes award winning historical fiction author Candace Simar will be selling and signing her book series "Abercrombie Trail". 5th Minnesota Infantry Co. D. Civil War Encampment - Special Presentations at 10:00 am and 2:00pm.

Guided Tours of the fort grounds available on golf carts with a tour guide. 40 minute tours - Admission $8.00 for adults and $3.00 for youth under age 14.
