Apartment fire at 1521 27th Ave. S. on Oct. 30, 2025.
FARGO (KFGO) – The Fargo Fire Department says one person was rescued from a fire early Thursday morning.
Crews were called to the 1500 block of 27th Avenue S. around 2:15 a.m.
Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson says the initial call was for fire on the 2nd floor. Firefighters arrived to find fire in the apartment unit and extending onto the balcony.
The fire soon spread to the third floor and attic. Erickson says a second alarm was called early into the fire fight.
No one was injured, but one cat died. All residents were evacuated. Erickson says they may need to find other places to stay.
There’s no word on the cause or extent of damage.
