42-year-old Christopher Knowles
MOORHEAD (KFGO/KVRR) – A Fargo man who was found hiding in the attic of a home in Moorhead after a chase and standoff in July has been sentenced. 42-year-old Christopher Knowles pleaded guilty to burglary, fleeing and illegal gun possession.
He’s been sentenced in Clay County District Court to seven years in prison. At the time of his arrest, Knowles was out on bond for having explosives in Grand Forks County and drug charges in Minnesota.
He led officers on a chase before ditching his car and running inside a home occupied by two people on 40th avenue south. They were not hurt. Knowles was found in the attic by SWAT after several hours and arrested. His passenger was arrested for obstruction and aiding an offender.
