FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man who crashed his pickup into a south Fargo home while under the influence of alcohol will spend one year in jail.
Clinton Deckard, 55, pleaded guilty to felony criminal vehicular injury and reckless endangerment for the March 2 crash that severely injured a 12-year-old girl. The crash happened around 1:15 that afternoon and left the pickup partially inside the home.
The girl was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Deckard was sentenced to three years in prison with two years suspended. After he is released, he must participate in the 24/7 sobriety program and will be on supervised probation for two years. Deckard was booked into the Cass County jail Friday morning.
