BARNEY, N.D. (KFGO) – Several crews responded to a grain dryer fire in rural Richland County Monday night.
The Sheriff’s Office says a caller reported the fire at 16675 73rd Street SE around 10:15 p.m.
Mooreton Fire was the first on the scene and requested mutual aid for a water supply from Colfax Fire and Walcott Fire. Firefighters had the fire extinguished and cleared the scene about two hours after the call.
The extent of damage to the dryer is unknown. No one was injured.
The scene of the fire is about 22 miles northwest of Wahpeton.
