WARREN, Minn. (KFGO/KVRR) – The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and Valley Water Rescue of Fargo were joined by other agencies and family members of Veronica Safranski on Thursday in another search for the missing woman.
The 40-year-old was last seen leaving a Halloween party at Mick’s Bar in Warren on October 26, 1996. She was wearing an American Indian Costume. She has not been seen or heard from since then. This past July, a man tied to the missing woman’s case was arrested. Kevin Skjerven of rural Newfolden, Minnesota, was arrested for being a felon or an ineligible person in possession of ammunition.
Witnesses said Safranski was seen leaving the bar with Skjerven, but he has never been charged in the case. Safranski’s daughters joined officers from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, MN BCA, Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force, and Valley Water Rescue in the ongoing investigation
Anyone with information on the disappearance of Safranski is encouraged to call the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office at 218-745-5411.
