Isaiah Northington (Otter Tail Co. Jail)
FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KFGO KBRF) – A Fergus Falls man has been charged with threats of violence after the victim of a prank involving a plastic gun called police.
Otter Tail County prosecutors say the victim called Fergus Falls police last Saturday. They reported that they had driven to an apartment to wish someone happy birthday when Isaiah Northington, 21, walked up to the car and showed what appeared to be a gun. The victim told police that Northington started laughing and he pointed the gun at the victim, keeping it under his shirt.
Court documents say Northington told officers that he thought it would be fun to grab one of his water blasters and splash water at the victim. He said when he tried to show the victim it was a water gun, the person became upset.
