ALEXANDRIA, Minn. (KFGO) – Two motorcycle riders from Alexandria were hurt in separate crashes over the weekend in Douglas County in west-central Minnesota.
On Saturday night, deputies responded to the intersection of a State Highway 29 and County Road 4 south of Alexandria where the sheriff’s office says 64-year-old Todd Chan was lying in the middle of the road. Chan was suffering from significant injuries, but was able to tell first responders he hit a deer. He was flown to St. Cloud Hospital.
Sunday, sheriff’s deputies responded to the intersection of two county roads north of Alexandria where 41-year-old Jered Valinski had serious injuries. He was also flown to St. Cloud.
A release from the Sheriff’s Office did not say if any other vehicles were involved in that crash.
