Attorney General Keith Ellison (D-Minn.)
ST. PAUL, Minn. – Governor Tim Walz is expected to announce whether he’ll run for a third term after the Minnesota State Fair, and Attorney General Keith Ellison was asked about running for governor Tuesday.
“I like my job a lot,” Ellison says. “We have a great governor. And as far as I know, he’s running for re-election until he tells me otherwise.”
Ellison’s plans are still up in the air as his term ends in 2026. He endorsed Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan for U.S. Senate next year.
