STURGIS, S.D. (KFGO) — The South Dakota Highway Patrol and Sturgis Police Department released their final reports Sunday, marking the close of law enforcement activity for the 2025 Sturgis motorcycle rally.
According to the Highway Patrol, three injury crashes occurred on two highways during the rally’s final stretch. None of these incidents resulted in serious injuries.
Over the course of the event, the patrol recorded a total of 66 injury accidents and 27 non-injury accidents. Four fatalities were included in the final report.
Drug-related arrests declined, with 266 misdemeanors and 104 felonies reported.
The Sturgis Police Department made 58 DUI arrests, down from 66 last year. Felony drug arrests rose slightly to 47. There were 97 non-traffic arrests and 114 traffic arrests.
Officers booked 142 people into the Meade County Jail during the rally.
