McKenzie Moser (Cass Co. jail)
FARGO (KVRR) — A Horace, North Dakota woman has been sentenced to three years in prison for causing a crash that severely injured three teenage girls last summer.
McKenzie Moser, 19, entered an Alford plea to criminal vehicular injury in February. It means she acknowledged that there would be enough evidence to convict her.
Moser was arrested June 13 and had a blood-alcohol level of .194 – over twice the legal limit for driving.
Moser and the girls all suffered head wounds. Two of the girls suffered broken vertebrae, one had a broken leg, and one had a lacerated spleen.
Shortly before that crash, Moser was involved in a hit-and-run in Fargo where officers found the front bumper and license plate to her car.
