DARWIN, Minn. (KFGO-KWLM) – A rural Litchfield, Minnesota man is recovering from a gunshot wound after he was accidentally shot.
It happened around noon Tuesday in Darwin Township.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office says 48-year-old Joseph Bogatzke and his co-workers were dismantling a car at a business when they found a gun. It went off while they were removing it, and hit Bogatzke in the arm.
Law enforcement are reminding people that all firearms should be treated as if they are loaded.
