FARGO (KVRR/KVRR) — A man arrested in Georgia in November for a Fargo homicide last summer has been formally charged with murder.
Leo Dartoe, 34, also faces weapon and delivery of fentanyl charges.
Dartoe is a suspect in the death of Sampson Bleh. He was arrested by U.S. Marshals and Atlanta Police on Oct. 18 and extradited to Fargo two months ago.
Another man, Geettoe Kamara, was arrested the day of the murder for drug possession. He was later charged with accomplice to murder, but the charge was dismissed in December.
Police say Kamara stole fentanyl pills from Bleh’s pockets after he was shot in the chest, but while he was still alive on Aug. 23.
Bleh died at a Fargo hospital later that day.
Dartoe will be back in court on February 27.
