MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Fire crews responded to a report of a fire and possible car explosion in north Moorhead Wednesday morning.
The call to 904 20th Street N. came in around 10:10 a.m.
Battalion Chief Matt Brand says the initial report was there was an explosion in the garage of the home.
Crews could see smoke coming from the roof, but contained the fire to the garage. Brand says there is no fire damage to the roof and smoke damage inside the home is minimal.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
