Police investigate suspicious package found in Big Top Bingo parking lot

FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo Police investigated a suspicious package in the parking lot of Big Top Bingo Thursday afternoon.  Police were called to the intersection of 25th St. S. and 9th Ave. S just before 3:40 p.m. A witness told KFGO News they saw a man drop a large black bag in the northeast corner of the parking lot and then run.

Police set up a perimeter around the area, and called in the Red River Valley SWAT Bomb Team. The Bomb Team found no explosives, and the scene was cleared around 4:40 p.m.

Fargo Police asked the public to avoid the area during the incident.
