FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man is facing felony charges after allegedly fighting with officers who were trespassing him from the downtown Fargo library.
Court documents say a librarian called police because Kevin Wright, 35, had urinated in the elevator. Officers told Wright he was being trespassed, but he would not leave. He was told he was under arrest, and an officer tried to grab his arm. Wright hit the officer, and kicked other officers while they tried to handcuff him.
Wright was eventually arrested for assaulting officers and preventing arrest. He also has outstanding warrants for forgery in both Morton and Burleigh Counties.
Four officers suffered minor injuries during the arrest.
